Have you been injured in a motor vehicle accident? If so, the first step is to ensure the accident has been reported to your Insurer and get a Claim Number. A visit to your family doctor is always advised to ensure that any medical conditions are addressed as soon as possible.

It is recommended that you begin physiotherapy and/or massage therapy for a quicker recovery as soon as possible from the time of the accident. During your first visit please make sure you have your Claim Number, Policy Number, Name and contact details of your adjustor from the car insurance and a piece of valid ID.

Upon assessment of your condition, physiotherapist will complete an initial report outlining the clinical findings, along with a treatment plan indicating types and length of treatment recommended. These documents will then be sent to your insurance adjuster for review before authorization of the entire treatment plan is given.

Once the treatment plan is approved all costs are covered by the insurer.
